PSA is organizing tour around Penang on 11 November, 2012 (from 8:45 am-9:30 pm) for all of the postgraduate students specially new students.

Program of USM International Week 2012 was as follow:

Launching Ceremony: 6th Nov(10-11am, Venue DTSP foyer )

Culture Exhibition: Tuesday & Wednesday- 6th &7th Nov
Time : 9:00am -6:00pm
Venue : DTSP foyer

International Games and Entertainments: Tuesday & Wednesday-6th and 7th Nov
Time: 11:00am-3:00pm
Venue : DTSP foyer

Food Festival: Tuesday & Wednesday-6th-9th Nov
Time: 10:00am -6:00 pm
Venue : Dataran Merah (Beside DTSP foyer

Gala Night 9th Nov 8-12 pm

We would like to request for call for participants to postgraduate students in USM and all Malaysian universities. 

Postgraduate Student Association (PSA) in collaboration with Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pembangunan Pelajar (BHEPP), Institute of Postgraduate Studies (IPS), Pusat Islam USM and PETAS (Non-Hostile Student Association USM) is organizing "1st International Quran Recitation and Memorization Competition 2012". The credentials are as follows:

Venue: Masjid Al-Malik Khalid, USM, Penang, Malaysia

Date: 31st July 2012

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Application deadline: 20th July 2012

For students coming from International university, Postgraduate Student Association (PSA) sponsor for their 2 days accommodation, food and a trip to Penang. Please see the attached poster and registration form for more details.

Like every year, Vice Chancellor's office Student Affairs Universiti Sains Malaysia (BHEPP) and Postgraduate Student Association (PSA) is organizing PSA Elections 2012 on 8 p.m. sharp 22nd March 2012 at DK-A USM.

Students can nominate themselves or their friends for the following active divisions of Postgraduate Student Association (PSA):

1. Academic Division
2. Welfare Division
3. Arts and leisure Division
4. Travelling & Tour Division
5. Sports Division
6. Culture Division
7. Communication Division:

About PSA

Postgraduate Student Association (PSA) is an organization of postgraduate students of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) that have the following objectives:

a). To promote interest and participation of members in Academic, Research and Social activities at USM

b). To facilitate postgraduate students rightful needs with regards to Academic, Research and Social activities at USM

c). To provide a forum for the presentation of innovative ideas for the benefit of university community.

d). Provide means of communication among members, the academic community & the administration of the University.
