About Nowruz
Nowrūz (Persian language: نوروز [noʊruz]), meaning 'New Day') is the traditional Persian new year ceremony. For Persians, Nowruz is a celebration of renewal and change, a time to visit relatives and friends, and pay respect to senior family members. Iranians and some other countries such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan celebrate this festival every year on 21 of March.
